From «Ineximbank» to «BTA Bank» CJSC: ascension

New times are coming for «Ineximbank». New perspectives and possibilities are opening in front of its clients.

First of all we should get used to a new name of this authority and influential credit-financial institution that is connected to the beginning of rebranding of both «Ineximbank» and its largest shareholder «TuranAlem Bank». This one of the leading banks of Kazakhstan and one of the most powerful financial institutions in the CIS has been shortly named «BTA Bank» since the beginning of 2008. On a recent meeting of «Ineximbank» shareholders its new owners decided rename «Ineximbank» CJSC into «BTA Bank» CJSC. It was done in accordance with realization of general conception of rebranding and renaming of the whole BTA structure.

Rebranding often takes place in business world. This process is necessary for any company in a definite period of its growth and development. We can say that a human himself is rebranded during all his life, changing clothes, habits, circle of contacts as years pass by. The same happens with an organization which gets stronger and more progressive collecting experience with time.

Rebranding for «Ineximbank» is not only change of the name and company style but accepting of a new strategy, the core of which is going to be leadership, professionalism and innovativeness.

-This step does not mean liquidation of the old brand «Ineximbank», — the first vice chairman of the Board of Directors, Ruslan Boronbaev remarks. — Rebranding demonstrates evolutional process of the old brand in a new one. We will always appreciate the old brand, thank to it the Bank gained the affection of a wide circle of population and partners. However we are sure that together with BTA financial group with a new brand we can get more success on the world market and will be able to offer services of international standards in Kyrgyzstan.

Thus the banks joining BTA banks and the companies are connected by a single BTA brand. «IneximBank» will be called Закрытое Акционерное Общество «БТА Банк» in Russian, «БТА Банкы» Жабык Акционердик Коому — in Kyryz, «ВТА Bank» Closed Stock Company — in English.

Except the name the Bank has completely changed its corporate logo. New logo is two quadrates put one onto another of scarlet and pistachio color on white backgroiund. These colors are meant to characterize main qualities of the Bank and its relation to clients and partners.

Pistachio color means sincerity, welfare, optimism, — Mr. Boronbaev comments. — Scarlet color means power and energy. The logo shape is also has its meaning: consequently placed quadrates symbolize reliability and stability, their crossing means cooperation.

Thus, new time is coming for «Ineximbank». The time when it will do its best to make its possibilities go faster than its clients’ wishes, market requirements, partners’ expectations. The time which puts new tasks for the Bank — to be better, closer, more distinct. There are positive perspectives opened for it.

See, «BTA Bank» JSC being not only one of the largest banks in the CIS, is a leader of bank network creation in the territory of the CIS countries. According to preliminary data, its consolidated assets for 2007 have grown up for 56%. They reached $ 25,5 billion in January, 1 st, 2008, the capital is $ 3,8 billion. Consolidated net profit of BTA amounted $ 580 million that is twice more than the profit got in 2006.

In the opinion of authority financial magazine «Itogi», BTA Bank was called «Bank of the year in the CIS» in 2007. According to «Euromoney» international magazine it was called «The Best Bank of Central Asia». An influential business magazine «The Banker» placed BTA in rating of 300 best banks of the world this year and presented the 3 rd place in nomination «Year Breakthrough». European Business Assembly (EBA, Oxford, Great Britain) called BTA «Best Enterprise of Europe» in the bank sector of Eurasian region.

Achievements of former «Ineximbank», now «BTA Bank» CJSC greatly impress as well. Its assets grown for 154% for last year and reached more than 5.5 milliards KGS in January, 1 st, 2008 (USD 156.2 millions). Volume of credit portfolio for clients grew almost twice the same year — for 195%, and in the beginning of January this year reached 3 billion 368 million 455 thousand KGS (USD 94 million 889 thousand). In accordance with this index «Ineximbank» has been holding a leading position in bank system of Kyrgyzstan for the third year.

Except it, volume of deposits in January, 1 st, 2008 made KGS 3,4 billion (USD 95.9), that increases the analog index for the previous year in 2.2 times. Nominal capital of «Ineximbank» has increased in KGS 320 million (USD 9.1 million), reached KGS 800 million (USD 22.5 million). This is the highest index in the bank system of Kyrgyzstan! In the same time total capital for the same period made almost KGS 1 billion, net profit — KGS 116.2 billion (USD 3.3 million). Growth of this index is 133%.

It should be added that during 2007 «Ineximbank» opened 7 branches and 27 savings banks, today their total number reached 14 and 54.

«Ineximbank» Rebranding will be held in several steps. During the first, transitional step the population and partners of the Bank will be informed about the rebranding. In the end of March 2008 renaming and revisualization of both the Bank and its branches will start. Anyway, it will be an old a reliable friend for all those who used to trust it, it will expand a big circle of corporate bodies and physical persons, whose respect and trust are above all things as its own reputation!
